Ariston Group has launched a voluntary campaign for preventive and corrective maintenance on certain models of floor-standing electric water heaters manufactured between 2007 and 2015.
Ariston Group has always been committed to maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and reliability in all its products. For this reason, the company has decided to launch a voluntary campaign for preventive and corrective maintenance on specific models of floor-standing electric water heaters.
Following some incidents in France, our product quality monitoring procedures have identified a risk of overheating of the electrical components inside the plastic cover of specific models of floor-standing electric water heaters, manufactured between 2007 and 2015, which can be increased in case of non-compliant installation or lack of periodic maintenance. In rare cases, overheating could result in a fire hazard for the water heaters.
The products involved are some floor-standing electric storage water heaters with capacities of 200 and 300 litres, marketed under the brands: Ariston, Sitam, and Radi-Perla.
