In a global scenario affected by escalating disruptions, businesses around the world face critical challenges that span from climate change to resource depletion and social inequalities. Europe is at the forefront of the transformation towards a more sustainable ecosystem.

A decarbonized pathway for the future

Buildings account for nearly one-third of the global final energy consumption and, in Europe, 62.8% of the total residential energy consumption stems from space heating, while 15.1% from water heating. The thermal comfort industry can accelerate building stock decarbonization through renewable and high-efficiency solutions enhanced by digital technologies.

Sustainability across the value chain

As global businesses incrase efforts to reach carbon neutrality, the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation foster companies' transparency and responsible procurement, while the Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP) promotes circularity in production and consumption patterns.

A society undergoing change

Employee well-being is increasingly recognized as closely linked to high levels of productivity, and career development opportunities have become critical for talent retention; in parallel, Global Gender Gap Index estimated that 132 years are still needed to reach full gender equality. In this context, companies success is more and more connected with the development of local communities.

Sustainable governance

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the related new reporting standards extend reporting obligations to all large companies in the EU, setting more stringent commitments. Additionally, the evolving regulatory framework demands that companies increase transparency across the entire value chain, improve data management, strengthen their governance structure, and sharpen their focus on risk management.

We defined a comprehensive ESG strategy

A plan dedicated to seamlessly integrating sustainability into our corporate approach

We are aware that sustainability means long-term vision and clear-cut objectives, which can be achieved only through a solid path of initiatives and concrete actions. Our strategy spans five key areas of engagement, ensuring an integrated approach to environmental, social, and governance responsibility. Our roadmap sets out a detailed and structured plan, built on short- and medium-term targets and supported by concrete initiatives.

A set of ambitious decarbonization targets to 2030

As a player operating in a sector that enables significant GHG emissions reduction, we defined near-term emission reduction targets in Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 that were validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). In addition, we are committed to improving the efficiency of the installed park by offering highly-energy efficient solutions, increasingly relying on renewable energy.
