Emission reduction and energy efficiency solutions
Our goals towards 2030
The Group has set a target to contribute to the cumulative avoidance of 100 million tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions over the 2020–2030 period (Scope 4 emissions) through the deployment of renewable and high-efficiency products that replace less efficient technologies in the installed base. Avoided emissions represent an estimate of the climate benefit associated with the use of these products and are calculated according to the methodology described in the Road to 100 program, using sales data, product energy performance data, and estimates of the installed base developed on the basis of market analyses and market intelligence studies. In 2025, the Group estimates that it contributed to the cumulative avoidance of 46.2 million tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions, representing 46% of its 2020–2030 target. In the same year, more than 65% of the Group's turnover was generated by activities classified as environmentally sustainable under the EU Taxonomy Regulation (EU) 2020/852, including the manufacture, installation, maintenance and repair of energy-efficiency equipment and renewable energy technologies (aligned activities).

Our goals to 2030
Remote control systems can help reduce heating energy consumption by up to 25% compared with non-programmed operation, based on tests conducted in our laboratories*. The Group has set a target of selling more than 5 million connectable products by 2030. By 2025, the Group had sold more than 2 million connected products.
*For heating systems, savings can be maximized by leveraging the full potential of the Ariston smart thermostat, outdoor sensors, and an AI-powered algorithm. Individual savings vary based on external factors such as usage patterns and climate conditions, which in some cases may result in savings exceeding 25%. For water heaters equipped with Ariston NET the comparison is done with a mechanical water heater.
